Your very own beach house, Villa J, also loving called the Yo Yo Flamingo, is just a few steps away from the ocean. It features one bedroom with a king bed, two pull-out sleeper sofas, remodeled bathroom, and a full kitchen. The villa has direct access to the beach and pool without any lobbies, elevators, or stairs to worry about.
Yo Yo Flamingo is the star of the animated short Carnival of the Animals featured in Fantasia 2000. Yo Yo is a pink flamingo who is free-spirited and just wants to have fun. However, his fellow flamingos prefer serious dance practice and become frustrated with Yo Yo's playful behavior. For our family, spending time at the Royal Flamingo Villas is the perfect way to break away from the obligations of work, school, and life and make our own fun.
In 2002, friends recommended that we stay at the Royal Flamingo Villas for our Spring Break vacation, and we fell in love with the place. Our oldest child enjoyed riding a noodle-shaped horse in the pool, and would give us tours of the pool while our little one chased birds on the beach. We returned almost every year as our family grew, and grandparents joined us. Each time we visited, we would inquire about villas that were for sale. After two decades, we finally found our dream villa, Villa J, which is now our home away from home. Many cherished memories come from the small, everyday moments at this special place on Hillsboro Beach.
